The people behind SamBliss
Lawrence Nsibandze is the founder of SamBliss Inc. and a finance and investment executive with more than 24 years of leadership spanning pension fund management, investment oversight, banking, energy utilities, development finance and external audit.
He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of Eswatini’s Public Service Pensions Fund, where he stewards an E43 billion (about US$2.3 billion) investment portfolio and leads the monitoring of external fund managers. His record includes converting a national utility’s E108 million overdraft into a E100 million positive cash position, implementing enterprise resource-planning systems, and strengthening market-risk oversight through Value-at-Risk and volatility strategies.
A Chartered Accountant in both South Africa and Eswatini, he holds a Doctor of Business Administration and an MSc in Investment and Risk Finance from the University of Westminster, completed as a Chevening Scholar with Distinction, and is a CFA Level II candidate. He has held senior positions at SwaziBank, Pact Eswatini, Nedbank and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and serves as a non-executive director across telecommunications, forestry, renewable energy and diversified business groups.
